We’re long overdue for some RnR... It sounds like it's time for a road trip!
When I think of road-trip planning, first I think about the mandatory stops along the way. And if you are like me, I like to group everything into one-stop. Restrooms (I have my list of the cleanest ones. Message me for more info!), coffee (obviously), food (healthy options, please!), and gas (or electric charging if you have a Tesla). Now that I think of it, gas is another rabbit hole in itself, and we'll save that for another newsletter. And of course, I use my Google (Ticker: GOOG) Maps "Along the Route" option to see just how out of the way these stops are!
Thinking in terms of "getting it all in one stop," check out TravelCenters of America (Ticker: TA). They are the king of 1 stop shopping for road trippers and long-haul truckers. Gas, food, clean restrooms, and I must admit, I love browsing their quirky shops! I frequently get a good chuckle out of the trucker T-shirt humor (10-4 Big Mama)!
Speaking of clean restrooms, one of my favorite places to stop is at Wawa! Wawa is primarily an East coast chain of gas stations and convenience stores, but what makes them so interesting is their employee benefits. Wawa is a private company, which means you cannot trade it on the public market; however, the company offers a generous stock ownership plan for employees. Almost 9,000 employees own stock in the brand as they are given access through a retirement plan. How cool!
Moving forward, road warriors need real food (I typically try to hold out on snacks for as long as possible!). When exiting the highway, what are you most likely to see? Fast food! On the strip, you'll see Mcdonalds (Ticker: MCD), Tacobell (Owned by Yum Brands; (Ticker: YUM) (I LOVE taco bell vegetarian options), Starbucks (Ticker: SBUX), Dunkin Donuts (Ticker: DNKN), and Chipotle (Ticker: CMG) just to name a few. Also, did you know Beyond Burger (Ticker: BYND) is partnering with some fast food brands to offer vegan options? Vegetarians rejoice!

These are just a few ideas I put together that remind me of buckling up and getting behind the wheel. As a reminder, I always encourage you to research this stuff on your own. Just because I mention specific securities doesn't mean there aren't other fantastic options out there that you could stumble upon yourself! Some of the stocks in my newsletters could be trading at recent or all-time highs, which is a great time to just bookmark those stocks, get to know them, and wait for an opportunity to get involved!
