I feel like it's safe to say everyone has one movie that scared them so badly when they were younger that they still get some degree of anxiety to this day. For me, it's The Terminator.
All my life, I wanted to be a bad-ass like Sarah Connor just in case I ever found myself in a similar situation. You know – in case I needed to defend myself against murderous self-thinking robots… Now, I will admit, I couldn’t live up to all the pull-ups she did… But she did inspire me to undergo some physical strength transformation. At one point I could do 5 whole pull-ups! But the part that stuck with me all these years was the drones in the Terminator scene where they flash to the future with John Connor. I can still see the drones hunting down the humans, forcing them to burrow underground. To put it lightly, it scared the living daylights out of me. To this day, when I see a drone (even a recreational one), I shudder a little bit. You may think I’m crazy, but it’s just the truth!
